13.11. Repair of a support of a forward brake

Dismantling

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Loosen the the union of prorolling also merge a brake liquid from a support in suitable capacity.
2. Remove a dustproof cover of the piston.

3. Establish between the piston and a support wooden брусок.


The prevention

On submit air under a high pressure for pushing out of the piston from the support cylinder.

Superfluous pressure can squeeze out the piston from the cylinder of a support with such force that can cause physical injuries. Do not try to catch the piston manually at its expression from the support cylinder.

Compressed air can be used as alternative of expression of the piston from the support cylinder.

Air giving in the cylinder carry out through an aperture for connection of a brake hose. Pressure of air should be such to provide an exit of the piston from the support cylinder.


4. Remove the piston.
5. A wooden or plastic core remove consolidation of the piston from a support aperture.
6. Turn out the prorolling union.
7. Remove the plug.

The prevention

Do not use oil, solvent, kerosene or gasoline for clearing of details of a support.

At their use as clearing means, their rests can remain on details and further to damage rubber consolidations.


8. Wash out support details in pure denatured alcohol and drain their stream of compressed air.

Assemblage

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Grease with a brake liquid and establish piston consolidation in the support cylinder.
2. Grease the piston with a brake liquid and partially establish it in the cylinder.
3. Grease a dustproof cover of the piston and establish it on the piston.
4. Press the piston into a support so that it was established in the support cylinder.
5. Screw the prorolling union.
6. Establish the plug.
7. Grease internal surfaces of plugs with the lubricant containing in the complete set for major repairs.
