5.5. The gauge of a measuring instrument of the expense of air

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect a socket from the gauge of the expense of air.

The prevention

Do not throw and do not strike the gauge as it will lead to its damage.


2. Loosen the collars of fastening of an inlet air branch pipe from two parties of the gauge of the expense of air.
3. Disconnect an inlet air branch pipe from the gauge of the expense of air.
4. Turn out two bolts of fastening of the gauge of the expense of air to an arm.
5. Remove the gauge of the expense of air.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Visually check up the gauge of the expense of air on absence of damages. If necessary, replace it. Put the gauge of the expense of air to an inlet air branch pipe and an arm.
2. Screw two bolts of fastening of the gauge to an arm.

The inhaling moment: 7,8–10,8 Nm

3. Connect to the gauge an inlet air branch pipe.
4. Tighten collars from two parties of the gauge.
5. Connect a socket to the gauge of the expense of air.
6. Start up the engine and warm up it to working temperature. Leave the engine to work on frequency of rotation of idling.
7. Connect the voltmeter between contact 2 (wire G/L – green / light) and weight.
8. Be convinced that pressure changes within 0,6–0,8 Century
9. Switch off the engine and be convinced that pressure is in limits 3,0–4,0 Century

10. If pressure differs from demanded, replace the gauge of a measuring instrument of the expense of air.
