8.1.10. A choice of adjusting linings
THE GENERAL DATA

Adjust a preliminary tightness of bearings and choose adjusting linings as follows.

Primary shaft

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish a primary shaft in картер couplings.
2. Establish картер transmissions on картер couplings and tighten bolts the demanded moment.

The inhaling moment: 19–26 Nm

3. Establish a measuring tip of the indicator of hour type in an end face of a primary shaft and measure axial люфт a primary shaft.

Axial люфт: 0–0,10 mm

4. Choose the adjusting lining closest on a thickness from a following number: 0,3, 0,4, 0,5 mm

Secondary shaft

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish a bell and an external ring of the bearing in картер couplings.
2. Establish a secondary shaft in картер couplings.
3. Establish an external ring of the bearing of a secondary shaft in картер couplings.

4. Establish картер transmissions on картер couplings and tighten bolts the demanded moment.

The inhaling moment: 19–26 Nm

5. Establish a measuring tip of the indicator of hour type in an end face of a secondary shaft and measure axial люфт a secondary shaft.

Axial люфт: 0,05–0,10 mm

6. Choose a lining as follows:

      – Add 0,03 mm to measured люфту;
      – Add 0,08 mm to measured люфту;
      – Choose the thickest lining in a range between (a) and (b).

Example: 0,22 mm

0,22 + 0,03 = 0,25 mm
0,22 + 0,08 = 0,30 mm
Range: 0,25–0,30 mm
We choose: 0,30 mm

Thickness of adjusting linings, mm – 0,20, 0,25, 0,30, 0,35, 0,40, 0,45, 0,50, 0,70

Differential

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish an external ring of the bearing in картер couplings
2. Establish differential in картер couplings.

The prevention

Turn And and B while the interval shown in drawing will not be eliminated.


3. Establish an external ring of the bearing on special adaptation OK900 175 AA0.

4. To establish adaptations OK900 175 AA0 in the places shown in drawing.

5. Tighten adaptations OK900 175 AA0 the demanded moments of an inhaling.

The inhaling moment: 19–26 Nm


The prevention

Tighten bolts so that adaptations OK900 175 AA0 could not move.


6. Establish steel прутки in apertures And and In the selector and turn the selector for backlash increase.
7. Turn in the opposite direction before backlash elimination.
8. Through картер transmissions establish adaptations OK900 175 AA0/OK130 322 020 on the differential satellite.
9. Turn adaptation OK130 322 020 spring scales. Turning steel прутками the adaptation achieve demanded preliminary loading.

Preliminary nagruzka:1,4-2,0 Nm

10. Remove adaptation OK130 322 020.

11. Measure a backlash in adaptation OK900 175 AA0.

Choose a thickness of the adjusting lining which thickness is the closest to the greatest measured backlash.

Thickness of adjusting linings, mm – 0,1, 0,2, 0,25, 0,30, 0,35, 0,40, 0,45, 0,50, 0,55, 0,60, 0,65, 0,70, 0,75, 0,80, 0,85, 0,90

13. Remove adaptations OK900 175 AA0.
14. Remove картер transmissions and adaptations OK900 175 AA0.
15. Remove an external ring of the bearing from adaptation OK900 175 AA0.
16. Establish an adjusting lining of the chosen thickness and an external ring of the bearing in картер transmissions.

Preliminary loading of the bearing of differential

Measure preliminary loading as follows:

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish differential in картер transmissions.
2. Establish картер transmissions on картер couplings.

The inhaling moment: 19–25 Nm

3. Through картер transmissions establish adaptations OK900 175 AA0 on the differential satellite.

4. Measure preliminary loading of the bearing.


Preliminary loading: 1,4–2,0 Nm

5. If preliminary loading differs from demanded, modify preliminary loading of the bearing.
6. Remove adaptations OK900 175 AA0.
7. Remove картер transmissions and differential.
